Orientation of EdukalEdad Batch 2

By the initiative milestone in advancing lifelong learning opportunities through community extension, Norzagaray College, through the office of the Community Extension Services, successfully opened and conducted the Orientation Program for EdukalEdad Batch 2 on February 3, 2026. This program was expand the access to lifelong learning and community environment, I'm alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 4: Quality Educ6, and SDG 17: Partnership for the Goals.


The orientation formally welcomed a new group of learners into the EDUKalEDAD Program, a flagship extension initiative designed to provide accessible and meaningful educational opportunities for community members. The activity was conducted with the full support and guidance of Dr. Ma. Liberty DG. Pascual, College President, and Hon. Ma. Elena L. Germar, Municipal Mayor, whose leadership continues to strengthen the institution’s commitment to empowerment through education.


notable highlight of the program was the integration of Batch 1 completers, who now serve as mentors and role models to the incoming participants. Their presence not only inspired the new learners but also fostered a sense of continuity, collaboration, and shared purpose within the learning community. The success of the orientation was further made possible through the collective efforts of dedicated faculty members, non-teaching staff, and student volunteers


Through the EDUKalEDAD Program, Norzagaray College continues to uphold its mission of promoting inclusive, equitable, and sustainable development.
