Advancing digital inclusion and capacity-building within faith-based communities, the Norzagaray College Community Extension Services, in collaboration with the College of Computing Studies, successfully conducted the first training session of the Computer Literacy Program for PASKA on February 13, 2026. This initiative marks a significant step toward equipping catechists with essential technological competencies, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

The session focused on foundational computer skills, providing participants with hands-on learning experiences in basic keyboarding and an introduction to Microsoft Word. Activities included proper typing techniques, familiarization with computer parts and their functions, and guided exploration of the MS Word interface and its basic tools.

Through personalized instruction and one-on-one tutoring, catechists were able to build confidence in using digital tools essential for lesson preparation, documentation, and effective communication within their respective parishes and communities.
