Computer Literacy Program for PASKA (Session 2)
On February 20, 2026, the Norzagaray College Community Extension Services (CES), together with the College of Computing Studies, successfully completed the second training session of the Computer Literacy Program for PASKA which focusing on Basic Microsoft PowerPoint. This session introduced participants to the essential features and tools of Microsoft PowerPoint, enabling them to develop effective and visually engaging presentations. Catechists actively participated in learning how to create and organize slides, apply appropriate themes and layouts, and utilize basic design principles to enhance the clarity and impact of their presentations. Additionally, they were guided in inserting images, text, and simple animations to make their instructional materials more interactive and engaging.
Through structured, hands-on activities and personalized assistance, participants were able to strengthen their confidence in using digital tools for teaching and communication. The session emphasized the importance of integrating technology into community-based instruction, aligned with the goal of UN SDG, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
