EdukalEdad Program Batch 2 (Session 9): Digital Literacy

The EduKalEDAD: Elder Enrichment Program of Norzagaray College – Community Extension Services successfully conducted its Session 9 on March 3, 2026, focusing on Basic Computer Literacy and Digital Awareness. This activity supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities.

EdukalEdad students actively participated in identifying the basic parts of a computer, understanding responsible use of social media, connecting to WiFi, and using Messenger. They also learned how to recognize fake or AI-generated content, promoting safe and responsible digital use.

Through simple and hands-on activities, participants gained confidence in using technology, helping them stay connected, informed, and independent.
