On March 10, 2026, Norzagaray College participated in the First Quarter Inter-Agency Meeting for the Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program (TBTP), organized by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office III. The meeting gathered partner agencies and institutions to coordinate the upcoming implementation of this community-based literacy initiative in Central Luzon.

Representing Norzagaray College was Ms. Romailyn V. Flores, Research and Community Extension Services Coordinator, affirming the institution’s commitment to promoting literacy and educational engagement. For the program, the College will deploy 18 Youth Development Workers (YDWs) and 36 Tutors to assist in delivering 20 days of tutorial sessions for incoming Grade 2 learners, alongside Nanay–Tatay Teacher sessions to involve parents in supporting their children’s reading development.

Through strong collaboration among national agencies, local government units, and partner institutions, this effort aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
