EdukalEdad Program Batch 2 (Session 13): English Literacy

On March 17, 2026, the EduKalEDAD: Elder Enrichment Program of Norzagaray College Community Extension Services successfully conducted Session 13, focusing on Functional English Literacy. This session aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.

Senior participants actively practiced self-introduction, including sharing their name, age, location, and hobbies, while learning proper questions and responses for introducing themselves. The session emphasized using English throughout the activities to enhance fluency, and participants engaged in one-on-one guided practice with facilitators.

The session concluded with an assignment encouraging learners to create a short video introducing themselves, further strengthening their confidence and communication skills. Through this activity, participants developed practical language skills that empower them to express themselves clearly and confidently in everyday situations.
