COED LAUNCHES MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK
The College of Education officially marked the beginning of its three-day activities from September 9-11 raising awareness on mental health with the theme, "Your Voice Matters" held at Atty. Amador Dela Merced Sports Complex.
Dr. Maricar Joy Buluran highlighted a powerful quote saying, "Okay lang maging hindi okay," as she delivered her opening remarks.
Mr. Jonathan Pascual, Guidance Advocate, delivered a comprehensive keynote speech emphasizing the importance of mental health awareness and its impact in one's life.
The whole duration of the event which include different activities like Garbage Emotion, Wellness Session, Burst the Stress Away, Stress Ball Making, Jigsaw Relieve Puzzle, Cups Relay, Quote of Positivity, and Film Showing was facilitated by the officers of Skilled and Active Future Educators (SAFE) with the collaboration of the newly established Peer Counseling Organization under the supervision of Guidance Counseling Center.
