EDUKalEDAD Completion Rites
In an inspiring display of lifelong learning, twenty-five senior citizens proudly completed their skills training and academic tasks under the EDUKalEDAD program of Norzagaray College. The completion rites honored seniors who finished trainings in areas such as digital literacy, livelihood skills, health and wellness education, financial management, and other academic modules designed to enhance independence and quality of life. Some of the participants balanced the demands of training with personal responsibilities and health challenges, making the achievement even more meaningful.
"Humahanga ako sa pinakita ninyong determinasyon na matapos ang inyong nasimulan sa Edukaledad program, dahil kayo ang patunay na hindi hadlang ang edad upang matuto," said Hon. Mayor Maria Elena Germar who expressed her support to the project of the Community Extension Services (CES) of Norzagaray College.
Dr. Liberty Pascual delivered an inspiring message to the completers and took the opportunity to express gratitude to the guest speaker, Dr. Elmer De Leon, the College President of Limay Polytechnic College, for guiding NC from planning until the implementation of the EDUKalEDAD program. The NC-CES emphasized that the project aims to promote wellbeing, social engagement, and continuous personal growth among older adults. The program will open new batches in the coming months, encouraging more senior citizens to join and experience the rewards of lifelong education.
