Norzagaray College Conducts Community Pantry for Employees


On May 3, 2021, Norzagaray College organized a Community Pantry as part of its continuing efforts to promote solidarity and mutual support among its employees. The initiative brought together members of the college community who voluntarily shared essential goods, vegetables, and other food items for distribution.


Employees of Norzagaray College generously donated supplies, which were made available particularly to casual employees who were among those most affected by the challenges at the time. The activity embodied the spirit of compassion and cooperation, emphasizing the principle of giving according to one’s capacity and taking according to one’s need.


The Community Pantry directly supported the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2: Zero Hunger, by helping ensure access to safe and nutritious food, and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, by extending assistance to vulnerable members of the institution. The initiative also reflected SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, as it showcased collective action and shared responsibility within the institution.


The activity highlighted the strong sense of camaraderie among Norzagaray College employees and reinforced the institution’s commitment to social responsibility, inclusivity, and community care during times of need.
