College of Education holds Virtual COEd Week Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic

The College of Education (COEd) of Norzagaray College successfully conducted its COEd Week through virtual platforms from June 30 to July 1, 2022, in adherence to health and safety protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic. The celebration was anchored on the theme “Strengthening Students’ Talents and Skills: A Key Towards Coping the Challenges for a Better Normal.”

The activity was held via Google Meet and Facebook Live, allowing students, faculty members, and stakeholders to actively participate despite restrictions on face-to-face gatherings. Various academic, co-curricular, and talent-enhancing activities were organized to provide students with opportunities to showcase their skills, creativity, and adaptability in a virtual setting.

The virtual conduct of COEd Week demonstrated the College’s resilience and commitment to sustaining meaningful student engagement while ensuring safety. It also highlighted the flexibility of the institution in adopting alternative platforms to continue student development beyond traditional classroom settings.

The activity aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting inclusive and equitable learning opportunities through digital platforms; SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, by minimizing health risks through virtual implementation; and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, by utilizing technology to support innovative learning and student activities.

Through the successful conduct of the virtual COEd Week, Norzagaray College reaffirmed its commitment to holistic education, student empowerment, and responsive academic programming amid the challenges of the pandemic.
