SDE Thanksgiving and Testimonial Celebration of BLEPT Passers 2025

A Thanksgiving and Testimonial Celebration was held to honor the 115 passers of the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) recognizing their hard work, perseverance, and achievement in obtaining their teaching licenses.


The meaningful gathering brought together LGU officials, school administrators, faculty members, staff, proud parents and family members to celebrate the milestone reached by the newly licensed teachers.


The event started with a Thanksgiving Mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Carlos Cruz. In the homily, Fr. Cruz mentioned the importance of not just obtaining the license in their chosen profession but also to seek the guidance from above in performing their duties and tasks.


The celebration served not only as a recognition program but also as a moment of gratitude and reflection on the journey each passer undertook toward professional success.

Dr. Liberty Pascual delivered her opening remarks and expressed her gratitude to the Board of Trustees headed by the Chair, Hon. Mayor Maria Elena Germar for the support to the institution.


Mayor Germar, along with Vice Mayor Giulius Iapino and Councilor Edsel Mendoza graced the occasion and in their speech they highlighted the dedication, discipline, and faith that guided the board passers through months of preparation and challenges. They also emphasized the vital role of teachers in nation-building and shaping future generations.

The performance of the College of Education in the licensure examination administered by the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) was presented by Dr. Maricar Joy Buluran which highlighted the significant rating obtained by NC as it surpassed the national passing rate for both the secondary and elementary level.


Another highlights of the celebration was the testimonial sharing, where selected passers recounted their experiences during their review and examination period. Many expressed heartfelt gratitude to their families, mentors, and instructors who provided constant guidance, encouragement, and support.


The recognition ceremony formally honored each board passer as their names were called and certificates of recognition were awarded. The moment was met with applause and pride from attendees, marking the culmination of years of academic effort and professional preparation.


The event concluded with a message of encouragement, urging the new licensed teachers to uphold the core values of the institution Professionalism, Responsibility, Integrity, Diversity, and Excellence (PRIDE). compassion, and excellence in their chosen profession.


The Thanksgiving and Testimonial Celebration stood as a testament to the power of faith, resilience, and collective support, as the newly licensed professional teachers prepare to begin their journey of service and leadership in the field of education.
