Library Committee Marks the Start of 2026 Initiatives
The Library Committee held its first meeting for the year 2026 on Friday, February 13, at 4:00 PM, at the Library. The meeting officially launched the committee’s programs and collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing library services, supporting research, and enriching learning opportunities for the academic community. All members of the committee were present, ensuring full participation in the discussions and decisions for the year.
Key topics included the acquisition of library resources for 2026 to maintain access to up-to-date and relevant materials, and the continuation of library resource sharing with other Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs) to strengthen institutional partnerships. The newly appointed NC-LISA Officers for 2026 were introduced, along with the presentation of their proposed plans and programs for the year, setting a dynamic roadmap for the library’s growth and innovation.
