The College of Computing Studies, together with the Norzagaray College โ Community Extension Services, in partnership with the Pandiyosesis na Sentro ng Katekesis (PASKA), successfully conducted the Orientation Session for the Computer Literacy Programโofficially launching our digital empowerment journey for catechists and church volunteers.
During the session, participants were oriented on the overall flow of the program, including the training modules, learning activities, and the practical digital skills they will develop throughout the course. They were also guided on the proper conduct of sessions, active participation, and the hands-on approach that will help them confidently apply technology in their ministry and community work.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Ma. Liberty DG. Pascual, College President, for her ultimate support, encouragement, and commitment to community outreach initiatives that promote inclusive digital education. Her leadership and support have been instrumental in making this initiative possible and meaningful for the community.
Sincere appreciation is likewise extended to Dr. Mindalita O. Cruz, Dean of the College of Computing Studies, for generously opening the departmentโs doors to this program and for her strong dedication in providing opportunities for catechists and church volunteers to gain valuable digital learning and technology skills.
Through this program, we aim to equip catechists with essential digital skills to enhance lesson preparation, presentations, and communication within their parishes and communitiesโempowering them to serve more effectively in todayโs technology-driven world.
