The College of Computing Studies (CCS), in collaboration with the Norzagaray College – Community Extension Services, successfully conducted Session 3 of the Computer Literacy Program for PASKA. As the training progresses, CCS continues to deepen the digital capabilities of catechists and church volunteers by advancing their presentation and communication skills.

This third session focused on Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Presentation Skills, enabling participants to move beyond the basics and create more dynamic, interactive, and impactful instructional materials. The training emphasized not only technical features but also effective delivery and audience engagement.

During the session, participants practiced applying animations and slide transitions appropriately, embedding video and audio elements to enrich content, and refining slide layouts for better clarity and visual balance. They also worked on developing confidence in speaking before a class or group, learning techniques to present lessons clearly and engagingly. Special attention was given to designing interactive presentations tailored for catechism instruction to make learning more meaningful for students.

Through guided hands on exercises and personalized mentoring from CCS facilitators and student tutors, catechists enhanced both their technical skills and presentation confidence. This session empowered them to create engaging, well structured, and purposeful digital materials that can strengthen faith formation and communication within their parishes and communities.

The College of Computing Studies remains committed to bridging technology and service by providing community centered digital learning opportunities that foster growth, creativity, and effective ministry.
