ABSTRACT
Creativity is a complex field of study that is discussed from many different perspectives. This is one of the reasons why there is no universally accepted definition. Creative approach presents creativity as one of many innate abilities, a talent possessed by all people and all learners. Thus, the researchers developed CREABOOKICS as a tool that helps teachers to motivate their students and broaden their understanding of Physics through its real-life application aligned with the Most Essential Learning Competencies created by the Department of Education. In this study, the researchers sought to ascertain the demographic profile of the teacher-respondents regarding of sex, age, years in service, and highest educational attainment. The study determined the level of acceptability and explored the potential significant differences in level of acceptability when respondents were grouped based on their profiles. Through the descriptive-developmental research method, a questionnaire administered by public secondary Science teachers. The acceptability of CREABOOKICS was determined by evaluating its concept, content, clarity, usefulness, language and style, with weighted means of 4.39, 4.39, 4.38, 4.48, and 4.34 respectively. Additionally, the results indicated that there was no significant difference in acceptability based on the respondents’ profiles. As a result, CREABOOKICS is deemed suitable as a teaching guide for Physics. From that, the researchers further inferred that in teaching and learning Physics, citing its real-life applications is significant and beneficial to teachers and 21st-century learners.
