ABSTRACT

In schools and other public places, digital gadgets are widely used for teacher training in education. To use it effectively, all Early Childhood Educators must be tech-savvy. This study sought to determine the degree of digital literacy and its applications among early childhood education field study candidates. For this, the correlational research methodology was used. All 46 field study candidates served as the respondents of this study. Data were analyzed using frequency and percentage and conclusions were drawn. The instrument was utilized and distributed to 46 field study students of BECEd program at Richwell Colleges, Inc., using the Digital Literacy Scale (DLS) and Teacher Readiness Model Scale (TRMS). The study was carried out using the correlational method and gathered information using a Likert scale. Further, teacher educator is encouraged to develop and enhance the digital skills for effective teaching.
