ABSTRACT
This study developed and evaluated the SAFE NCIANS Health Declaration Application and Attendance Monitoring System Using RFID, designed to monitor the attendance and health status of students and staff at Norzagaray College. The system's effectiveness was assessed through an online evaluation conducted via Google Forms, which focused on several criteria including correctness, reliability, efficiency, integrity, usability, maintainability, testability, flexibility, portability, and interoperability. The evaluation, involving students from Computing Studies, instructors, and staff, confirmed that the system met all these criteria, demonstrating its effectiveness and efficiency. The study employed both Quota Sampling and Random Sampling methods to select a representative sample of respondents, including both students and employees of Norzagaray College. Findings indicated that the system successfully prevents queuing and eliminates paperwork, making it a cost-effective solution. The SAFE NCIANS System is recommended for its ability to manage health declarations and attendance efficiently, reflecting its original contribution to administrative processes in the academic setting. Overall, the RFID-based system proves to be a valuable tool for improving health and attendance management at Norzagaray College.
