BARANGAY TIGBE SYSTEM: AN INFORMATION AND ISSUANCE SYSTEM

ABSTRACT

The barangay is where the initial planning and implementation of community projects and endeavors take place, but it has the least amount of available information that serves as a baseline for planning and policy implementation. The Barangay Tigbe System is a web-based system that aims to transform the system from a traditional and centralized unit into a more inclusive and citizen-oriented system. Its primary goal would be to streamline existing administrative processes such as requesting documents, viewing announcements, and filing complaints. In developing the system, the researcher focuses on developing and testing system features, graphical user interfaces, and scheduling iterations. This iteration lays the groundwork for development, including functionality and usability testing to ensure the effectiveness, efficiency, and reliability of the developed system. The researcher also used data from the target local government unit to conceptualize the entire system.
