Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd)
The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) is a four-year undergraduate degree program designed to prepare aspiring educators to teach in the elementary grades. The program equips students with a broad foundation in the liberal arts, educational theories, child development, curriculum and instruction, assessment, educational technology, and research. It develops the knowledge, skills, values, and professional competencies necessary to facilitate learning across the different learning areas of the elementary curriculum. The program also emphasizes inclusive education, learner-centered pedagogy, and experiential learning through Field Study courses and Teaching Internship. Graduates are prepared to become competent, reflective, and ethical elementary school teachers who can respond effectively to the diverse learning needs of children and contribute to the improvement of basic education.
