Services


General Services

The Office of the Research Services provides technical, academic, and administrative support to both faculty/staff and students in conducting high-quality research through the following:

  1. Research Orientation

Introductory sessions that familiarize participants with institutional research policies, ethics, and procedures.

  1. Research Consultations

Individual or group consultations providing expert guidance on proposal writing, methodology, data analysis, and manuscript preparation.

  1. Research Seminars, Trainings, and Workshops

Capacity-building activities that enhance research and publication skills, covering topics such as research design, data analytics, ethics, and scholarly dissemination.

  1. Institutional Research Week

An annual event showcasing completed research outputs through paper presentations, poster exhibits, and knowledge-sharing sessions that promote academic excellence and collaboration.

Research Services

The Office of the Research Services is dedicated to supporting faculty, staff, and students in producing high-quality and ethical academic research.

  1. Data Analysis Assistance – Support for quantitative and qualitative data processing using appropriate statistical or analytical tools.
  2. Grammar and Technical Editing – Proofreading and editing services to improve clarity, coherence, and adherence to academic standards.
  3. Similarity and Plagiarism Checking – Use of AI-powered tools to ensure originality and academic integrity.
  4. Panel Review and Technical Advising – Expert advice from research mentors to refine research design, structure, and presentation.

These services aim to enhance research credibility, foster innovation, and strengthen Norzagaray College’s position as a center of excellence in education and inquiry.

RESEARCH INCENTIVES PROGRAM AND OUTSTANDING RESEARCH AWARDS


The Research Incentives Program recognizes and rewards outstanding research efforts among faculty, staff, and students.

  1. Publication Incentives – Financial or merit-based recognition for research published in local or international journals.
  2. Presentation Incentives – Institutional support for presenting research at conferences and symposia.
  3. Research Grants – Funding opportunities for innovative and impactful research aligned with institutional goals and community needs.


OUTSTANDING RESEARCH AWARDS

The Outstanding Research Award (also known as the Best Paper Award) is presented to individuals or groups whose research demonstrates excellence in quality, presentation, innovation, and societal impact.

RESEARCH LOAD REDUCTION AND SUPPORT PROGRAM


To promote a balance between teaching and research productivity, qualified full-time faculty members may be granted teaching load reduction or special assignments to conduct research aligned with the institution’s research agenda.

Program Highlights:

✅ Up to 6-unit teaching load reduction for active research engagement.

One-semester completion timeline with monitoring and progress evaluation.

✅ Support for individual or collaborative research projects.

✅ Opportunities for publication, funding, and extension integration.
